Worship & Ministries
Worship is held every Sunday at 10:00 am
We enjoy worship with Scripture, prayer and music including traditional hymns and contemporary songs.
Holy Communion is celebrated at least twice each month.
A Social Hour is offered after service.
Bible Study is every Thursday at 10 a.m.
Join us as we dig deeper into Scripture and discover how it still speaks to our lives today. Our Bible study is a time for questions, conversation, and community—whether you’re new to the Bible or have studied for years. Together, we’ll explore the stories of faith, wrestle with hard questions, and encourage one another in our walk with God. Everyone is welcome!
Youth Group at Crossroads
Our youth group is a welcoming space for middle school and high school students to connect, grow, and have fun together. We gather for games, meaningful conversations, Bible study, and community service projects that make a difference. Whether it’s kayaking, cleaning up the beach in Brevard Co, or just hanging out with friends, teens in our youth ministry find a place where they belong. At Crossroads United Church of Christ, we believe young people are an important part of our faith community, and we’re excited to walk alongside them as they explore faith, friendship, and life.
Children's Church
Once a month, kids are invited to take part in Children’s Church during our Sunday service! Right before the sermon, children will be dismissed to enjoy an interactive Bible lesson for kids and a fun church craft activity. This special time helps children learn about God’s love in a way that’s engaging, age-appropriate, and creative. Parents can remain in worship knowing their kids are growing in faith and having fun with friends.
The Labyrinth
Our outdoor labyrinth is a peaceful space for prayer, reflection, and renewal. Walking the labyrinth is an ancient spiritual practice—a moving meditation that invites you to slow down, listen, and draw closer to God. Whether you come with a specific prayer, a heavy heart, or simply a desire for quiet, the labyrinth offers a sacred path for all ages. The labyrinth is open to the community and available during daylight hours.
Music/Choir Ministry
Our service is beautifully enhanced by our Choir. Led by our music director, they sing loud and proud the praises of our God through the hymns and other songs of worship. They might meet on Wednesday evenings at 6:15 and Sunday morning at 9:00. Interested in joining the choir? Come and make a joyful noise!
Prayer Team Ministry
This group meets after worship to pray over the prayer requests submitted during service and throughout the week. All are welcome to join.
Crossroads Kayak Club
Any chance we get, Crossroads Kayak Club heads out on the water for a time of connecting with nature, God, and each other! Watch for announcements on when and where we'll be meeting up! Join our Facebook group to find out where we're going to meet up next!
C.H.A.T.
Crossroads Having A Talk is led by a group facilitator who is also a member of our congregation. CHAT is a caring group of people that meet to receive multiple perspectives, support, encouragement and feedback from others in a safe and confidential environment! This group is open to everyone.
Food 4 Families Ministry
We have partnered with a local elementary school (Croton Elementary) to provide food assistance to children and their families who are in need. We provide fundraising activities to purchase food cards that are then distributed each Friday during the school year to those most in need.
Mini Food Pantry
We provide bags of non-perishable food for people in need. Food pantry is available Tuesday - Thursday 9am - noon.
Greeters, Worship Leaders, and Communion Deacons
This ministry, led by our Senior Deacon, works during each Sunday Service to greet all attending, especially visitors to our church. The ministry also assists the pastor during our service by leading prayers, assisting with communion service, and assisting those in need.
Audio/Visual Tech Teams
Volunteers team up to manage our audio-visual equipment each week for Sunday Service and other special occasions in the Audio-Visual Booth. Two or three volunteers make up a team with one managing the audio and recording, another the screens, and the third managing the video feed.
Grief Ministry
When loved ones and friends of Crossroads pass on, it is a very sad occasion. Our Grief Ministry, with the assistance of the “Stephens Ministries Grief Series,” provides comfort and prayer to the families of the deceased. We do this via the printed Grief Series along with visits and prayer healing.
Snacks and Chats
Also known fondly as our Kitchenettes and Kitcheners, this group of dedicated volunteers produce the goodies that are served during fellowship after every Sunday Service. Sometimes it’s entire meals including baked goods, and sometimes it might be desserts and beverages. No matter what, they make it with love, and it tastes like it!
